Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the influence of aromatherapy lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) against concerning Low Density Lipoprotein (LDL) of mice (Mus musculus) exposed by electric foot shock. This research used 24 samples with complete random design research method. Eighteen male mice aged 2-3 month (with ± 30 gram) that devided to six groups. A1B1 as negative control, A1B2 and A1B2 treated by Aromatherapy Lavender through different time length 30 and 60 second, A2B1 was exposed by electric foot shock with no treat, A2B2 and A2B3 was exposed by electric foot shock and treated by Aromatherapy Lavender through different time length 30 and 60 second. Each groups received the exposure and treatments for 14 days. LDL level was evaluated by direct haematology analyzer. Data were analyzed using ANOVA test followed by Duncan. The results showed significant difference (p<0.05) of Stressor against increasing LDL level and The results Significant difference results (p<0.05) within 60 seconds of giving Aromatherapy Lavender, to a decrease in LDL levels.
