Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh koneksi politik terhadap kualitas Corporate Governance serta kepemilikan keluarga dalam memoderasi pengaruh koneksi politik terhadap corporate governance. Teknik analisi penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi moderasi dengan menggunakan metode regresi linear berganda. Populasi penelitian ini merupakan perusahaan yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI) selama periode 2011-2018. Pemilihan sampel menggunakan metode pusposive sampling untuk memperoleh 113 unit analisis dari 25 perusahaan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa koneksi politik (PCON) berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap corporate governance (CG). Family Ownership (FOWN) secara signifikan memperlemah pengaruh negatif koneksi politik terhadap corporate governance. Hasil uji interaksi diperoleh temuan bahwa kepemilikan keluarga tidak dapat memoderasi pengaruh koneksi politik terhadap corporate governance.
