Abstract
In society there are always various language phenomena. Eachgroup of society has its own language variety. Theuse of certain language variety is different for one group of people to others. In this study the writer is interested in the use of medical jargons in RSUD Dr. Soetomo hospital. As a public place, it is visited by many kinds of people. So, the difference of medical jargons usage can be seen clearly.
