Abstract

Fokus Penelitian ini adalah implementasi program Tanggung Jawab Sosial dan Lingkungan (TJSL) PT PGN SBU DW II sebagai strategi pembentukan citra perusahaan. PT PGN SBU DW II merupakan strategic business unit dari PGN yang kegiatan inti usahanya mayoritas berupa instalasi dan pemasangan pipa gas, sehingga memiliki potensi untuk menimbulkan konflik dan gesekan sosial di masyarakat. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perusahaan melalui Departemen Humas menyadari pentingnya pembentukan citra perusahaan, yang dapat dicapai melalui implementasi program TJSL. Penelitian ini menjadi signifikan karena masih sedikitnya penelitian mengenai strategi pembentukan citra perusahaan pada BUMN ditinjau dari implementasi program TJSL. Tinjauan pustaka yang digunakan adalah public relations dan stakeholder perusahaan, arti penting citra perusahaan, strategi pembentukan citra perusahaan, teori CSR, serta CSR dan corporate image. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan tipe deskriptif dan metode penelitian studi kasus. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam (in depth interview), observasi, serta data sekunder dari literature, artikel serta dokumentasi perusahaan baik cetak maupun online di internet. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi program TJSL di PT PGN SBU DW II selain menggunakan tahap-tahap public relations yang terdiri dari analisis situasi, rumusan tujuan, penentuan publik sasaran, media planning, penetapan anggaran, pelaksanaan program, dan analisis hasil, juga menggunakan penerapan 3 (tiga) pola CSR yang terdiri dari program sentralisasi, desentralisasi dan program kombinasi. Program TJSL ini diimplementasikan selain untuk memenuhi kewajiban perusahaan sebagai BUMN yang diatur oleh pemerintah, juga sebagai strategi perusahaan untuk membentuk citra positif. Translation: This research is focusing on the implementation of Social and Environmental Responsibility (SER) Program of PT. PGN SBU DW II as a strategy to build their corporate image. PT. PGN SBU DW II is a strategic business unit of PGN in which their core business activities is in the installation of gas pipelines, so it has the potential to cause a social conflict in the community. To overcome this issue, the company realized the importance of the establishment of the corporate image, which can be achieved through the implementation of SER program. This research is significant because there is a least research on corporate image establishment strategy of the state company using the implementation of SER program. Literatures used in this research is public relations and corporate stakeholder, the importance of corporate image, corporate image establishment strategy, CSR theory, and also CSR and corporate image. This research is using qualitative approach by case study method and descriptive research type. The data collection is accomplished by indepth interview, observation, secondary data from literatures, articles, and printed or online company documentations. The result of this research show us that the implementation of SER program of the company is using public relations activities stages such as analyzing the situation, setting the goal, choosing the public, media planning, budgeting, program execution, and evaluation. The implementation of SER program is using three CSR pattern that consist of centralization, decentralization, and combination program. Not only to meet the company obligation as a state company ruled by government, this program is also implemented as a company strategy to build their corporate image
