Abstract
Entering the digital era there are many new paradigms that are emerging and asking for careful consideration and attention. The global business environment will become increasingly complex, dynamic, and various kinds of conflicts of interest emerge. The current tight competition in the working world has resulted in more job seekers or those who already employed, including the increasing importance of competition among them. In the context of the company, leaders only need people who have competencies according to their duties/positions. This study aims to describe the competency model of job seekers at PT. Citra Indojaya Perkasa, describing the differentiation between job seeker competency models and competency models in the digital era according to theory, and findings the data by informants that will produce a new competency model in the digital era to find a job. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study were 5 people whose 3 of them were looking for a job, 1 person is an HRD at PT CIP, and the other informant is Work Introducer Officer from Dinas Tenaga Kerja Surabaya City. The process of collecting data in this study used the interview method on each participant, and from the research was found competency models created in the digital era nowadays, namely; The spirit of achievement to achieve the target, proactive, communicative abilities that are diplomatic and persuasive as well as attractive appearance as the additional value in finding of works.
